LEVEL 1: Adult Flamenco Foundations (AFF1)

DESCRIPTION

Jump‑start into flamenco.

Adult Flamenco Foundations 1 is your jump‑start into flamenco technique, rhythm, and movement. This 6‑week module is designed for adults who are new to flamenco or returning dancers who want to brush up on the basics after time away. AFF1 builds confidence, body awareness, and rhythmic clarity in a supportive environment that reflects Colorado’s warm, adventurous spirit.

You’ll explore foundational posture, armwork, footwork patterns, and compás training that feels great in motion. Short movement phrases help you connect technique to music while building the strength and coordination needed for continued progression.

AFF1 prepares you for AFF2, where you’ll deepen technique and expand your movement vocabulary.— a welcoming foundations class designed for absolute beginners and returning dancers who want to brush up on the basics.

LEVEL 2: Intimate Evening Session

Level 2: Intermediate Evening Session is a focused 6‑week module designed for dancers who have completed AFF2 or have equivalent one‑year experience. This evening program blends technique refinement with expressive movement, preparing dancers for more complex rhythmic patterns, longer phrases, and confident participation in community performance settings.

This full‑body evening training is your mid‑week flamenco immersion — a chance to settle in after the day, reconnect, and step into movement with renewed intention. Students refine technique, expand rhythmic fluency, and build confidence in longer, more expressive movement and choreographic phrases.

The tone is warm, intentional, and artistically driven. This intimate evening session offers a space to decompress, ground yourself, and channel flamenco’s naturally cathartic energy. Students build stamina, deepen musical responsiveness, and explore movement with greater dynamic contrast and expressive clarity. It’s ideal for dancers ready to elevate their training and step into a more mature flamenco practice.
